CSWIP stands for Certification Scheme for Personnel, a globally recognized certification for individuals working in welding, joining, and materials integrity. It provides certifications for personnel involved in various stages of manufacturing, construction, operation, and repair of structures, plants, and machinery. It’s considered one of the highest standards in personnel competence assurance and is widely recognized globally, with over 50,000 certified individuals. 

Formation à la certification CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector

1. DESCRIPTION

CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector is 5 days of theory and practical and 1 day exam (in French).

2. PRE-REQUISITES

  • CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector – a minimum of 3 years welding inspection experience related to the duties and responsibilities listed in clause 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 under qualified supervision, independently verified or CSWIP visual welding inspector for a minimum of 2 years with job responsibilities in the areas listed in 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 above or CSWIP welding instructor or CSWIP welding foreman/supervisor for a minimum of one year (if welding instructor, candidate must provide a certificate to support his experience or if welding foreman/supervisor, candidate must provide a company letter (in company letterhead) stating his job title and experience as per CSWIP requirements).
  • Course fee: USD 3,000 per candidate, inclusive of training and exam.
  • Before we confirm a candidate’s slot for their preferred session, we require that they complete the Enrolment documents. Sample-filled forms and guidelines are attached for their convenience. They should be informed that we will be reviewing the documents. If there are any discrepancies in the forms, we will return them for amendments. It is following the CSWIP strict requirements that the candidate must complete and amend their forms if any changes are required.

3. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • 1. CV
  • 2. Electronically filled Enrolment form (attached in this email) except for signatures/stamps. Handwritten forms will not be acceptedPlease ensure the name on the Enrolment form matches precisely the one mentioned on previous certificates.
  • For company-sponsored candidates, please ensure that you include the sponsor company’s name, address, contact details, and signature on the first page.
  • 3. Eye vision test (attached in this email) – the address should be the same in both the Enrolment form and the vision test
  • 4. Passport size photos – photos should be high quality with a white background and not be older than 1 year
  • Photos should be passport-size, high-quality, with a white background, and not be older than one year. A separate JPEG file (a photo in the CV does not count). We DO NOT accept selfies/scanned photos/blurred photos.

4. EXAM ELIGIBILITY

According to CSWIP scheme regulations, the candidate must successfully complete the training program, including both theory and practical components, before taking the exam.

5. TO SUMMARIZE THE PROCESS, PLEASE SEE BELOW STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS

  • Submit all required documents (via email)
  • Review documents as per the CSWIP requirements.
  • If forms need revisions, we will return the documents to the candidate for correction (any changes in the forms are the candidate’s responsibility).
  • We will only accept the information provided in the official TWI forms.
  • If all details are provided, we will mark the documents as complete.
  • Payment link will be issued, or we will provide bank transfer details (TWI ME).
  • If the candidate is company sponsored, we will require a Purchase Order for tax invoice purposes. If no Purchase Order is provided, the tax invoice will be named after the candidate, and it will be final.
  • Tax invoice will be provided upon request.
  • After Verification of payment, we will confirm candidate’s course seat via email.
  • Course material will be shared via a WeTransfer link (PDF format) after confirmation of payment
  • Venue and time of session will be shared in the joining instructions before the start of the session.
  • Any change in the course schedule will be notified in advance
  • After the candidate completes PRACTICAL training, the candidate is now eligible to sit for the exam.
  • We strictly adhere to the rule that the candidate must complete the required training BEFORE they can be booked for the exam.
  • Results are processed in approximately 8-10 weeks from the date of the examination

Please be aware that is the standard estimated release of result and not guaranteed as we are currently handling huge volume of candidates.

  • Issuance of the physical certificate is between 8-10 weeks after result release (estimated)
  • The certificate will be sent to the address provided in the enrollment form.
